Package Overview
Specialist Cardiovascular & Arterial Check-Up
The most comprehensive non-invasive cardiovascular screening available on an outpatient basis. This package includes coronary artery CTA to directly visualise coronary artery stenosis and plaque, 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, 24-hour Holter ECG (ambulatory cardiac monitoring), echocardiography, neck vascular Doppler for carotid plaque assessment, and myocardial enzyme and troponin testing.
Ideal for patients with risk factors for heart disease, a family history of cardiovascular events, unexplained chest pain, palpitations, or hypertension.
Included Diagnostics & Tests
Detailed list of laboratory tests, imaging scans, and clinical checks in this package.
| Diagnostic Test / Investigation | Clinical Scope & Details |
|---|---|
| Coronary Artery CTA | CT angiography of the coronary arteries to detect stenosis, calcification, plaque, and coronary artery disease — the most definitive non-invasive test for coronary artery disease. |
| 24-Hour Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring | Continuous blood pressure monitoring over 24 hours to detect masked hypertension, white-coat hypertension, and nocturnal dipping patterns. |
| 24-Hour Holter ECG (Ambulatory) | Continuous 24-hour cardiac rhythm monitoring to detect arrhythmias, heart block, and intermittent conduction abnormalities not seen on a standard 12-lead ECG. |
| Echocardiography | Ultrasound of the heart assessing valve function, chamber dimensions, ejection fraction, wall motion, and cardiac output. |
| Neck Vascular Doppler | Colour Doppler ultrasound of the carotid arteries to detect plaque, stenosis, and intima-media thickening — a marker of systemic atherosclerosis. |
| Myocardial Enzymes (4 Items) + Troponin | CK, CK-MB, LDH, AST (myocardial enzymes) plus high-sensitivity troponin to detect myocardial injury. |
| VIP Lounge + MDT Report Review | VIP lounge access and multidisciplinary specialist team review of all results on the same day. |
Patient Preparation Instructions
Please follow these preparation protocols to ensure the accuracy of your results.
Failure to follow preparation steps might require postponing your appointment.
- Fasting: Fast for 4–6 hours before the coronary CTA. Plain water is permitted.
- Caffeine & Stimulants: Avoid caffeine (coffee, tea, energy drinks) and decongestants for 24 hours before the CT scan and Holter monitor fitting.
- Medications: Continue all cardiac medications unless specifically instructed otherwise by your cardiologist. Inform your care manager of all current medications.
- Beta Blockers: If your heart rate is above 70 bpm, a beta-blocker may be given to optimise coronary CTA image quality. This will be discussed with you on the day.
- Holter Monitor: You will wear the Holter monitor home and return it the following day. Avoid water (bathing/swimming) while wearing it.
